From armed protection on the high seas, to VIP and executive protection ashore, through to unarmed protection in ports and marinas, our solutions are fully risk assessed and consultative, ensuring detailed assessment of the potential threats, allowing for a bespoke solution to be provided to mitigate the potential threats.
We do not rely on third parties to vet or train our guards. Instead, PVI scrutinises all our guards’ medical and training documentation to ensure they achieve the standards our customers demand. They will all hold Live Firing Certificate, C&G MSO Certificate, ENG1, STCW95, Seaman’s Card and Wellness Assessment Letter. One of the team will be Trauma Medic Trained. While on board they will blend with the crew.

Former Royal Marine 1 is a highly-qualified individual with an exemplary career of 9 years. Qualified in Ship Security with RYA certificates as a Coastal Skipper and Yacht master, he also has an advanced Powerboat Certificate and GPS, Radar and Diesel Engine Maintenance. He is an adaptable team player who remains calm when working under pressure and is used to operating in extreme environments. Former Royal Marine 1 is an avid climber and skier, holding a qualification in mountain rescue along with being a qualified Coxswain.

Former Royal Marine 2 has over eleven years’ exemplary service, leaving the Corps after achieving the rank of Corporal. He was awarded a Physical Training Medal for superior fitness and is a highly regarded and hugely experienced member of our specialist team. Former Royal Marine 2 is a RYA qualified sailor who knows his way around a yacht having led a team on numerous long cruises. He is a keen marathon runner whose mind is focused and can be relied on to take charge in challenging situations.
