The Halcyon team made a very positive contribution during the transit, not just as a security dealing with vessel and crew security through the HRA, but also in general as ‘additional crew’, assisting with all manner of duties from look out to setting up and breaking down soft hardening.

It was most beneficial for Plan B to have the continuity of having the same team leader on board, not only enhancing the Team Leaders on site familiarity with the yacht and crew, but also enhancing the crews security drills and procedures, building on the platform that has been implemented on our previous two transits.

Halcyon provided an insightful and informative brief on the new and emergent threats in cybersecurity and its wider impact on the superyacht industry. Jim and Oli brought a wealth of experience from both the civil and defence markets as well as their own background to open our eyes to just how big of a issue cybersecurity is.

Their advice on emergent threats and how to protect not just our data in the office but onboard the yachts was extremely helpful. This will help us to future proof our own systems and behaviours as the threats and sophistication of attacks increase and evolve in the future.

Simon and the team conducted their professional duties very effectively, and they were very helpful with the preparation of the soft hardening and crew response training etc.
