Incident Report - Crown Jewels belonging.....

Incident Report – 2nd August 2018

Crown jewels belonging to Sweden’s Royal Family have been stolen by a pair of thieves, who fled the scene by motorboat and are now on the run.

Eyewitnesses saw two men running from Strangnas Cathedral, just outside Stockholm in Sweden on Tuesday 31st July in the afternoon, before jumping into a boat moored close by.

They were seen motoring off into Lake Malaren and have not been seen since.

The burglars escaped with two royal crowns – one belonging to the 17th Century King Karl IX, the other to his wife, Queen Kristina – and a royal orb.

Police have launched a huge search operation, across land, sea and air, but currently have no suspects.
